Hi,

I tried saving xls to csv file but the data in the csv file are not what i wanted. I need to have double quotes around my data. eg. "data" in my csv file.

Is there any formulas or macros code that i can use?

thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

try;
Code:
Sub test()
Dim wbnew, wb As Workbook
Set wb = ActiveWorkbook
Set wbnew = Workbooks.Add
wb.Sheets(1).UsedRange.Copy Destination:=wbnew.Sheets(1).Range("a1")
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
wbnew.SaveAs Filename:="c:\test.csv"
For Each c In wbnew.Sheets(1).UsedRange
c.Value = """" & c.Value & """"
Next
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
End Sub
