I am attempting to save a copy of my workbook.
I am getting a warning dialog box stating the following:
Save 'Master.xls' with references to unsaved documents?

Any idea of what this means or what is occurring?

thanks

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
It means what it says, very straightforward, you are attempting to save Master.xls after you put a link in Master.xls to a different workbook which you have not saved yet, probably still on your taskbar as Book1 or Book2. A search on Google with those keywords would have also revealed the answer.
