Save file to new location (without saving copy)

Is it possible to save a file to a new location without saving a copy of the file in the original location? I realize that I could save as, and manually delete the file in the original location, however I am trying to write a macro to essentially move the file to a new location (from in-process to completed). Any ideas or is this not possible?
