save into a folder created first

Is it possible to prompt my users asking where they want to save the workbook and then create a sub directory where they specify and save the workbook into that sub directory once it has been created

Hi gibbo1715,

I would recommend that you use the simpler Application.GetSaveAsFilename method rather than the Windows API routine. It also has a button on it to permit the user to create a new folder if desired. It looks like you've already got it right regarding use of MkDir to create the new folder, so I'm not entirely clear about what you are having trouble with.
