Hi all,

I want to do a SaveAs with password, the code below does work, but...
I want the end-user to be able to open the file as Read-Only, without having to enter/type the password.

With the code below, you cannot open the file without the Psswrd.
What's missing?

Partial Code:
---------------------------
.....
savefile = path & filename & ".xls"

ActiveWorkbook.saveas savefile Password:="123", ReadOnlyRecommended:=True

...more code....
---------------------------

Cheers,
