Hello You,
I have a situation where I had some data saved in a *.xlsx workbook. I came back a few days later and added a macro to make my charts dynamic. Upon restarting the workbook and updating my chart, excel complains about not having macros enabled etc...
I know the problem is that I saved a macro in an *.xlsx format. And that all macros were deleted when I saved it, however after displaying the error, the code still runs! Any idea where the code is hiding out, or is this just a bug?

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Did you save the macro code in the same workbook or in your own personal workbook?

Same Workbook. I try to limit saving to the personal unless I use it A LOT. Unfortunately I cannot post the work book, I'll see if I can replicate the problem generically.

If you actually saved it as an xlsx format then it can't contain macros. Are you sure it's not named with .xlsx.xlsm but your system is set to hide known file extensions (the Windows default)?

Found the issue. There is no macro in the work book at all. What had happened was I had named ranges in the workbook that the chart was referencing. The macro just reset the axis to reverse order if the data made a logic true. It's only on about 2 of the 25 or so sets that I am charting, so I missed it.

I cannot seem to download the html maker on my machine due to network restrictions. Will try to figure that out some other time.

Thank you!
