I have recently made a Excel file with a dropdown menu using data validation list which dynamicly links to another sheet. I then have cells that link to the dropdown cell using the HLOOKUP command. Everything work great in Excel 2010 but when I send the file to a colleauge who is using excel 2007 the dropdown box doesnt work, does anyone know how to fix this?

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
How did you create the dropdown/data validation and how is it not working for your colleague?

As far as I know there aren't any differences between 2007 and 2010 that could cause problems with that sort of thing.

Oh of course, In 2007 the drop down box doesnt work. I didnt think there was a difference either. I created the box with a data validation list linking to =Data!$B$1:$S$1

For some reason in '07 it won't let me choose the data validation list source from a different worksheet...
