Perhaps I've answered my own question, but does anyone have an easy a way to save often used macros, ie finding last row, deleting a row or rows, auto-filling rows, etc., in a word, text or excel file that could be easily referenced so that a macro could just be copied and pasted into a new macro or file that you could be working on......obviously ease of finding needed macros using some type of search or alphabetical order would be necessary.......or at least make it easier.....:)

appreciate any ideas.....or what someone else might do.....

i don't write many macros so don't remember all syntax and nuances that go into writing macros, but am tired of opening multiple files or going back to a book that has the info when i know i've written something similar before.....

thanks,

kenman

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Im a newb to VBA also and i was thinking how this forum should have a library as such of commonly used codes, or even a sticky thread of all the good stuff

like copy and paste, insert columns and row etc

would save all us newbs asking silly questions

I keep all my bits of code in a folder made up of individual text files.
I access these files from an "AddIn" that shows in the Right click Shorcut menu. When this is clicked a Userform shows with a List of all the Text files. I then select a file which s copied to The clipBoard. I can then paste the contents of the file into a Code Module or Wherever.
You could do something similar, by using your "Personal Workbook" to hold code to show a userform , to do the same thing.
You could access it with Something like "Ctrl + Z". This code would then be available to all worksheets.
