How would I go from a simulation to a scatter plot does it require a chart first? Ive been asking all kinds of questions about this but I now have to make a scatter plot showing the projected profit given a certain bid the bids are random numbers in the simulation so obviously so is the profit. I tried making a table first but the numbers just dont seem to come out right.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Put the independent variable of the simulation -- bid number, maybe(?) -- in one column of a worksheet. Put the corresponding profit in the adjacent cell to the right of each bid.

Select any cell in the range above and create a XY Scatter plot.
