I have a macro that has screenupdating = false early in the code and =true late in the code.

On my laptop, this works perfectly.
I take that file on a memory stick and put it on a coworkers, and al of a sudden, the flickering occurs.

It is the same document.

Is there a checkbox or something that I should be looking for on her computer? we are both using Excel 2007

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
The problem here is likely a conflict with an add-in called XLGL

Assuming that is the case, I would like to shroud what is happening with a splash page or something.

Another possibility would be to minimize the document while the macro is running and maximise it upon completion, if that is a possibility.

At this point I am open to suggestions.

What would you do in this case?
