I have an active x combobox and when I expand it and scroll down, instead of scrolling in the list, it scrolls the actual excel window, leaving the dropped down portion of the combo box "detached". How do I remedy that?

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Don't use the scroll wheel on your mouse. ;)

Yep. ActiveX controls and worksheets don't really play well together.

Do you actually need an activex control rather than a DV dropdown (or even a forms combobox, which doesn't scroll, but at least doesn't scroll the sheet either!)

Then I think you're out of luck. (the scrolling doesn't work on the list part in a form either).
