Hi everybody!!!!!!!

I was wondering if it is possible to search for a word or phrase in a range of cells and delete the word as need. I'm not sure how the code would go but I would like to use a check box if possible

Private Sub CheckBox8_change()
If CheckBox8.Value = False Then
find "parapet" in A1 - A12 and delete

End If
End Sub

I'm sorry about the incorect code

thanks in advance for any help it's really appreciated

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Not exactly what you asked for

You can use "Find and Replace" to delete from an area. Highlight the area you want to delete the word/phrase from. Enter it into the "Find what" leaving "Replace with" blank. Hit Find all to check what will be deleted and replace all to delete the word.
