hi,

I'm trying to create a search box that can pull data from sheet2 data list column (A,B,C,D numerus rows) and show it in sheet1 .

so far I've made a Search box and linked it to a cell.......
i was going to use the (FILTER) function to show matching data that was searched which is pretty easy by the looks of it....
only trouble I'm using 2016 and Filter function isn't available.

Does anyone know a way of doing this without using the filter option?
i was trying to use index and match but really i would prefer it to show not exact matches as well.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
