Search, Extract string, copy part of the cell - HELP!

I need to code a module in VBA. I'm not sure where to start. I've coded quite a few things, but never something like this. Any help you could provide would be VERY appreciated.

· The intent is to search each cell in column A, checking to see if it contains a beginning string and if it contains an ending string. If found, copy the 'beginning string', then all the words between 'the beginning string' and the 'ending string', then the 'ending string' to a column. I then need to copy all the remaining, leftover text, to another column.
· The user will build a list of strings to search for (they will enter the start of the string and the end of the string. )
· The program will loop through the search list and check each row in the spreadsheet.

· In the example below, row 10, the user wants to search for the string beginning with "a minimum of" and ending with "years".
· Checking row 2, "a minimum of" is found, then "years" is found.
· Copy the following to column B: "a minimum of 5 years" + all the words between 'a minimum of' and 'years' + "years"
· Copy all the remaining words (words before the word "a minimum of" and all the words after "years") to column C, so "Requires experience in real estate" would be copied to column C.
· Checking row 3 = no match
· Checking row 4 = no match
· Checking row 5 = no match
· Checking row 6: "a minimum of two years" would be copied into column B; "prefer experience as a server" would be copied into column C
· CHECK THE 2ND SEARCH REQUEST IN ROW 11,
· ETC.

(I'd actually would like the search to find YEARS and YEAR without having to list each 'ending string' as singular then list it again as plural, but I'd just like to get the above working, then I'll figure out how to tweak it).

Unfortunately, I have to have it in a VBA module per the user's request.

I was thinking that perhaps I could 'translate' your formula to convert it to VBA, but couldn't.

Can you convert this to VBA?

You can use the macro recorder to record you putting in the formulas, copying down, the replace with values....

May I ask you one more question? Is there a way to put the beginning search and ending search words in a variable and loop through the search criteria list, (the criteria in rows 10-13 in the example) as the user was hoping to add additional search criteria when necessary. (If not, I'll try to think of a way to easily modify the criteria when it's necessary.)

We could get much more complex to add a lot more flexibility

With this, create a sheet called "Search" and put your strings in A2:B2 down. Name your data sheet "Data" with data in A2 down, then run this:
