Dear Friends,

We have a cell with a text and need help on the below:
  • Cell has full text and If it has a word "expense" exists in the cell then perform vlookup with other sheet.
  • Else leave it blank.
Kindly help.

Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Try something like
Excel Formula: 
=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("expense",A1)),VLOOKUP(lookup value, range containing the lookup value, the column number in the range containing the return value, Approximate match (TRUE) or Exact match (FALSE));"")
