I've been trying to resolve the following problem, see data and results below. The column data is arranged/structured by categories of Vegetables, Fruits and Fruits and associated types ( eg potatoes) directly below each category. The only constant data in (column data) are the categories Vegetables, Fruits and Fruits, the types under each of these categories varies in type and number. So my strategy is to search for Vegetables in the data column and assign Vegetable in ( column results), until it get to Fruits in the (column data) and then assign Fruit until I get to Salads in (column data) and then assign salad. Any ideas of how to tackle this? thanks in advance

column data column results

baby spinach salad

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Typo, if it's not obvious, the categories are Vegetables, Fruits and Salads not Vegetables, Fruits and Fruits,
