Hi all

Could someone help me find the best way to return the column letter from a search?

For example, current code manually defines a range...

first_row = "AE2:CF2"

but I would like to make it more dynamic by including a search in there for the column headers in AE and CF which have unique strings so that if I add or delete columns, the range will still be between those two search strings

Thanks!

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Sorry all - think I found a solution. Couldn't find anything before posting but then found a solution when searching for my exact post title!

Try
Code:
=SUBSTITUTE(ADDRESS(2,MATCH($AC$1,2:2,0),4),ROW(AE2),"")
($AC$1 is a criterion string and must not be in the same row, ie Row2.)
