Searchable drop down list, excel 2016, no "filter" function and use 1 list to "repeat" for all rows

I have a list of names, and I want to be sure if I typed them right way. I know a way only via making 1st list for 1st row, 2nd list for 2nd row etc etc... Is there any way for that ?

I would be adding rows, deleting them etc... Just I want always to have some easy option to make that cell a drop down list for my names.

Also I will probably edit that list of names in future, expanding it or something.

you can do a data validation.

on a separate workbook tab, create your list of names then go back to your original document.

say you want that list in column A.
select that column and on the data tab, select data validation.

on allow. change that to List. and point your source to your separate workbook tab.

select all the names in your list by selecting the column, and providing you tick "Ignore Blank", it will fill with the whole column.

Sorry, but your idea is not "searchable" . Like, i will have more than 400 names... And I would like at least to type e.g. "ale" and that it offers me "alexander", "alexandria", "alen", "alena" etc etc... If not automatically, at least when I type "ale", that on drop down option to get just those names with "ale", starting at list with "ale"
