Greetings Experts,

After trying to make a searchable drop-down list without any sucess I created a Data Validation list and then used KuTools to make it a searchable drop-down list. To my dismay after protecting the sheet it doesn't work anymore. I reached out to their support and received the following explanation...

""For the current version of Kutools for Excel, the Searchable Drop-Down List feature will not be available after protecting the sheet.""

I'm hoping someone here has a work around for this.

Much appreciated...!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
If you're willing to use an add-in, you can try a free Excel add-in called "Search deList" to get searchable data validation. You can find it here:
