I'm new at this whole access form stuff, I have some knowledge about making basic forms and such.

I'm trying to make a form that inputs into a single table. What I want to happen is the user has the ability to add a new record, save it, and then once its saved.. not be able to edit it again or delete it. Also to be able to search for a specific record without editing it. Though there will be someone who maintains it who needs the ability to edit & delete.

Help please!!!

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
I'm sure there are options in the form's properties that cover this. Unfortunately I don't have Access on this PC, but if you go into the form's "design" view then you should be able to right-click on the form and bring up the properties window. Somewhere in those properties will be things like "Allow Additions", "Allow Editing", etc.

Does this help?
