Hello,
I'd like to find out whether it's possible to secure a few sheets in Excel with different passwords. I don't mean just to secure the ability of editing the sheet, I would like other people not be able to see what other sheets contain unless the password is entered.
I have a workbook with template that counts bonus wage for employees and since they're sensitive data, I'd like just the concerned people to have access to their own sheets. I'm not sure if it's even possible, so I'd appreciate all the help ?

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Yes, it's possible. Check out this thread:

However, be aware that security on Excel is very weak. Even if you password protect the sheets as shown, a user with even medium Excel skills can crack the password. Or even look at the data without needing a password at all.

Whilst it is possible to hide worksheets & give each their own password, Excel security is weak & can easily be broken & probably falls short of the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation GDPR when it comes to protecting employee’s personal data. If you are processing sensitive personal information in a shared workbook, I would suggest that you need to move away from Excel to more specialized & secure software solution.
