Greetings, all!
Quick question I haven't been able to resolve elsewhere- I have an Excel 2010 workbook with structure and individual sheets password-protected against modification, but which isn't encrypted for opening. Users of Excel 2007 and 2010 don't have a problem opening and using it. However, I recently sent it to someone still using Excel 2003, and they were prompted for a password on open as if it were an encrypted file (sounds like they're running Windows Vista, computer otherwise up-to-date). I haven't otherwise been able to duplicate the problem they've been having. Does anyone know how to resolve this, or have any insight as to why this might be happening? I'd like to be able to preserve the worksheet and structure protections but have them be able to open the file and see the data.
Thanks!
