Hello All, Need a little help. I understand the dangers of enabling Macros in a shared or work or network environment but I couldn't Google up any information on the safety of enabling Macros on a home computer. We do have a home network which consists of my husband and myself because we share our all-in-one. So if I enable Macros, are we in danger from an outside source being able to place malicious Macros on our computers if one of us is, say, on line shopping at Office Depot or looking stuff up on various websites? Should I instead make my one Macro spreadsheet a 'Trusted Document' or myself a 'Trusted Publisher'; neither of which I know how to do? Any solutions appreciated. Thank you. Sharon

Welcome to the Board!

I would not enable all VBA on your computer, unless you receive some Excel file with malicious code (which you may or may not be aware of).
I would recommend either Digitally signing the workbooks with VBA, or using a Trusted Location.

Joe4, I worked on figuring out how to make the doc a trusted location. Hopefully, I did it correctly because I did change back to ...disable with notification... for Macros. Thank you for your help. Could not have done it without. SharonB
