Hi Everyone,
I hope someone can help with this dilemma. A basic function of a cell is when there is a value above, and you begin to repeat the same value in a lower cell, excel automatically begins to complete the cell.

So to input in a1, aaron smith and in a2, andrew jones, in a3, typing "an" immediately brings up "andrew jones".

So I have a list of 50 names in a drop-down box from another worksheet. I'd like to be able to type in any letter in the active cell on one sheet, and reference those names from the other sheet, in an identical scenario listed above.

So instead of going through the entire drop-down box of 50 names, we can input one letter and only bring up those names beginning with that letter.

Is anyone out there able to help with this problem?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Jerry
