selecting a range using a named cell

Hi guys,

I need to write some code to select a range from an active cell, to another cell i have named.

the first part of the following code names the cell and the second part is the other cell i want to select to make the range.

Range("B2").Select
THEcell = ActiveCell.Row

Range("c65536").Select
Selection.End(xlUp).Select
ActiveCell.Offset(0, -2).Select

Any help will be appreciated
