Hi all, first time here. I have never posted as I have always been able to Google my way to freedom. :) But not today.

I built a spread sheet and builds all my equipment when I build a system for a job. I have two panels that are an 8 and 24 unit and macro to copy the first one to make as many as I need for that job. Work sheets are as follows:

"LAN-8 (1)" "LAN-8 (L)" "LAN-24 (1)" "LAN-24 (L)"

I have a price sheets that collects all the info from the cells on these sheets. What I am having trouble with is making a wild card that can filter and collect a range of cell from a range of sheets. I can't figure out how to highlight them all. I did and IF for LAN* and LAN-8 (*) and LAN-24 (*) and it only does the sheet you are on and selected. It will not select them all.

I could record a macro to do it there are too many variable that I am got comprehending. Such as, I have have 15 LAN-8 panels and 10 LAN-24 panels and it changes for every job.
So I would have a LAN-8 (1) through LAN-8 (5) and LAN-8 (L) and the same for the 24 panels.

I want to copy a range off of every sheet and paste only the equipment selected for that project on to an new worksheet, showing the equipment at each panel location.

Any ideas on this? The range of numbers changes for every job, so I was figuring on a wild card, but am not very sure and need help.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
