selecting sheets with the keyboard on a Mac

I used to select several worksheets in a row on my PC by pressing CTRL + SHFT + right arrow.

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this with Excel Mac (v. 2011)?

If it's not possible, maybe an alternative would be a Select-All sheets feature.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Ctrl+shift+right arrow doesn't select sheets in any version of Excel - it selects populated cells to the right of the current selection.

Just occurred to me - did you mean Ctrl+Shift+PageDown (or PageUp)?

Oops.

Yeah. I meant Ctrl+Shift+PageDown. (It's hard to remember when your computer is not right in front of you).

Can that be done with a Mac?

I'm not at a Mac now, but does Cmd+Shift+PageDown work?

Unfortunately not. (I suppose you mean Cmd + Option + Shft + Arrow).

I have a doc with more than 20 sheets and I often have to save it with a different name and then delete all but one or two (saving only those sheets does not work). In my PC I could do that in 1 sec by pressing the aforementioned shortcut. With my mac I have to do it manually with the mouse and it takes a really long time.

If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated. I'm going crazy...

Why can't you just click the first tab, then shift click the last tab with the mouse?

That works!

I am a mouse antagonist, and so the solution to me is nothing like the PC's keyboard shortcut, but it does do the job, so thanks!

If I remember, I will test on 2011 tonight.
