Hi Guys,

I have a column (H) full of peoples names, some of which are duplicated. What I need is to reproduce just the first entry - no duplicates in column (I)

For Example

Column H Column I

Rob Rob
Max Max
Jim Jim
Rob
Rob
Max

Thanks for any help

Regards

Rob.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
You can use Advanced Filter (Data > Filter > Advanced Filter), and choose Unique Records Only. Then choose location as $I$1
