Selecting the last date of data

Hi Guys,
I extract some data on a weekly basis but the report i pull is monthly.
One column has Date ending in which is what i use to extract for the date.

What i need is a macro which filters the last date in column A to the most recent date so i can then copy this into a new spreadsheet

Heres some example data
