Hello -

I have multiple selections in one cell separated by commas. I would like to show each selection as one line in cell and next choice as second line in same cell and so on...

Currently showing:

White monitor, Black Monitor, Blue
Monitor, Orange Monitor

What is needed:
White Monitor
Black Monitor
Blue Monitor
Orange Monitor

Is it Possible to show these choices in this format in one cell?

Please advice.

Thanks,
lexkhan

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
If this is in Cell A1...
White monitor, Black Monitor, Blue Monitor, Orange Monitor

Put this formula in B1...
=SUBSTITUTE(A1,", ",CHAR(10))

Make Sure you format cell B1 to have "Wrap Text" turned on. Also, make the Row 1's height tall enough to accommodate the multi-line text height.

You could then drag \copy the formula down column B for each value in column A.

After you have the formulas set up the way you like, You could then copy column B and Paste Special: Values on top of column B to replace the formulas.
