Sending a PM

Hi all
Well, I've looked everywhere, but can't work out how to PM somebody on this new platform....can someone please advise....:devilish:

simply click on the users icon >> start conversation

Michael, or the generic Start Conversation is under the envelope icon in the top bar.

For some reason you cannot start a conversation with everybody. What are the criteria when someone becomes 'conversable'?
 
Depends on their privacy settings as you can turn it off (and also used to be that you couldn't receive pm's until you had a certain number of posts - an anti spam measure. I assume that is still the same with conversations).

Can you confirm that you mean that you can start conversations with some people but not with others?

If so, could you provide the user name of a member that you were unable to start a conversation with so we can check the situation?
Also, what are the symptoms? That is, you cannot enter their name in the Recipients box? or nothing happens when you click 'Start conversation' or you get an error message? etc
If you wish, you could provide that in a conversation with me as you have previously been able to start one with me. :)
