In Column A I have several numbers in the rows below that all have L on the end of them. For example:
1.5L
2L
3.75L
1L

In column B I want a formula that takes away the L and just leaves the numbers?

Can you help?

Thanks in advance

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi

If this is something you have to do frequently, this is a solution without formulas.

- select the range with the cells
- use replace:

Replace: L
With: (leave empty)
