I inherited a spreadsheet at work where every single cell has a page number in grey under the text, starting with cell B1. Cell B1 says Page 1, cell B2 says Page 2, etc. It only goes as far as the number of rows we're using and starts with the next sequential number at the top of the next column. It's also dynamic, so when we delete a row it renumbers. I don't know why they needed this but I don't need it and it's super annoying. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it? Many thanks!!

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
Are you in "Page Break Preview"?

Why, yes, that did the trick. I've never had occasion to use it and didn't even know that existed. Thank you!!
