Setting macro to fill cells

I have a large dataset that I have entered extra data into and want to analyze the data. In order for my analysis to be correct I want to fill cells that do not have data in them with "NOT TESTED" so those cells are counted in my analysis.

Is there a way to design a macro I can run where I can select the cells I want it to look in and then if the cell is blank it will replace it with the requested text? I have tried to sort the cells in such a way that large blocks of empty cells can be selected and filled but there are many cells that are still missed and it's really hard to go through and find others.

Thanks for your help!

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Select the range you want to have just the empty cells filled.
Then run this macro:
Code:
sub Macro1()
Selection.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).Value = "NOT TESTED"
End Sub
