I am creating a 3D worksheet and need to set the same cell on multiple worksheets at the same time.

As a user enters text in a cell, say ("C4") on one worksheet, the same cell ("C4") on several other worksheets are updated with the user's input. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Hold down the SHIFT key and click the worksheet tabs to select multiple worksheets. (The word "[Group]" will appear after the filename in the title bar.) Once in group mode, any change in a cell is replicated to all the cells in that group of worksheets.

If you need to pick and choose worksheets, use the CTRL key instead of the SHIFT key and click the worksheet tabs one at a time.

Thanks Greg for the quick reply. However, I was interested in doing this using VBA macros. So that it happens automatically as the user enters the text.

Take a look at the FillAcrossSheets method for sheet/worksheet objects and play with that a bit. Post back if you get stumped.
