Hi,
is there a way after deleting all the shapes on a worksheet to reset the index numbering to 1? That is, I want to delete all shapes and then add new shapes.
Thanks

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Hi,

The index numbers are read only and can't be manipulated in VBA - as far as I know.
However I think if you delete the shapes save then re-open the file the number is reset.
