Sharing Issues for Access DB on SharePoint

Has anyone been able to place their access db on SharePoint to where multiple users can edit it on SharePoint verses it forcing you to download it or read only? If so, how would I go about doing this?

I have never attempted this before. But, is there a way to place your Access DB on SharePoint, but have it linked to where it saved in the folder its linked to? Also, multiple users should be able to open it correct?
