Sheet Protection NOT Working on Some Locked Cells

Hi there!

I have multiple sheets in a workbook.

Some of the sheets contain stand-alone formulas and some contain linking formulas to other sheets within the same file.

I have locked all of my formula cells and have left the rest (data cells) unlocked. However, when I apply sheet protection, I can still edit some of these locked formulas.

Can anyone help on this one? I'm stumped.

Thx,
Eliz

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
The only things I can think of are:

1) To double check that the cell is actually locked and
2) Make sure you're protecting the *sheet* as opposed to the *workbook*

The cells containing formulas ARE locked and the sheets (not the workbook) is protected.

Thanks anyway.
