I am trying to protect a sheet that has 4 dependent Data Validation dropdown lists. I have unlocked all of the cells that contain the dropdown lists, but when I protect the sheet, only the cell selected upon protection is available to the user. Each of the lists are Named and located on a seperate hidden sheet. any suggestions for protecting the sheet and making all the lists available to the user would be appreciated. I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
When protecting the sheet, only ensure that the second box is ticked being 'select unlocked cells'

Also for teh cells that have the drop lists ensure that the locked box is unticked

That should do it for you
