My workbook just started throwing a random unprotect error when opening. I isolated the line of coding and tried running it by itself in a test sub and it failed then too.

The sheet is called "Developer"
Cells B15:E15 (merged) contain the password.
I have another sub that references this same password and works flawlessly.
Error is a 1004 - Application or Object defined error.

Code:
Sub test()
Sheets("Developer").Unprotect Password:=Worksheets("Developer").Range("B15:E15").Value, UserInterfaceOnly:=True
End Sub

Have you tried .Range("B15").Value rather than .Range("B15:E15").Value

Unprotect only has one argument - the password.

No Rory means the UserInterfaceOnly:=True shouldn't be there

Oh right right. That's defining when it's protected but doesn't matter when coming off because you're taking it off....duh haha sorry! Thank you!
