What is the meaning of =+Sheet3!L26 ?
is it something as activeCell = Sheet3+L26 ?

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Instead of "=" we can use "+" to arrive the formula.

After arrived the formula its shows like "=+Sheet3!L26 "

"=+Sheet3!L26 " or "+Sheet3!L26 " both are same, both formula will give same answers!!

If u hit " CTR+{ " that will show the reference of sheet3

It's just a link to cell L26 on worksheet Sheet3.

Its a formula pulling in the value from Sheet3 cell L26.

Back in the days of Lotus you could start a formula with + and some people still do that to this day, since that is what they were use to.
