Hi there all.
Here is my challenge.... i have a pivot table with names along the top and the value is 'Y' or 'N'. I want to show the % of each value against the top row, while keeping the original values. I have attached a sample of the raw data but in reality i have thousands of rows so simple sorting is difficult. The end result that im looking for is to see what % of 'N' & 'Y' for each member name. i would like to see the 75% & 25% built into the pivot table somehow.

any thoughts?

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

Hi Dear,

Try the following:

Add the "Top 3" field to the Values area a second time.
Click on the new field in the Values area and select Value Field Settings... from the popup menu.
Activate the Show Values As tab of the Value Field Settings dialog.
Select "% of Parent Row Total" from the "Show values as" dropdown.
Click OK.

Regards
