Excel 2003 Win XP

I downloaded an Excel file. When I opened the file all the info
was there but the area with info had no gridlines. There were
gridlines outside of info area. When I expanded the cells the
gridline show but disappear when I release the mouse button.
The show gridline box is checked in cell format, page set up,
etc. I really need the lines to show and print if possible.
Thanks for any ideas.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Welcome to the Board!

I get that all the time with Lotus files that I get from our finance folks. All I've found that you can do is manually apply gridlines.

You'll find something similar with analyzing Access queries, in that the gridlines are a "non-standard" grey instead of black.

Just one of those things...

Hope that helps,

Smitty

Further to Datsmart's comment.. If the cell has white colour applied to it, the borders will also disappear. So you could check to ensure there is not white colour shading applied to the cells.
