Hi
I have 2 lists 1 list has 4000 records 2nd list has 4500 records and is a duplicate of the first with an additional 500 records.

I am looking for a way to extract so I have just these 500 records in a separate file

can you please help advise the best way to do this?

Many thanks

Michael

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
name one set as a range, then use VLOOKUP to show the duplicates, filter and delete them

Hi Michael, welcome to the Forum. It would be helpful to know where your lists reside, ie. worksheet 1, column A and worksheet 2, column A, etc. Also, where do you want the results displayed in a separate file, sheet 1, 2 or three? Is the separate file existing or do you want a new file created?
