anyone know of a way to show a certain pivot filter on chart excel 2007 (so it can be used as a title on the chart)?

thanks.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
When creating your Pivot Table you get the option to use Pivot Chart which will allow you to filter in the Chart, is this what you mean?

i have the charts already created. but i want to show a certain filter on the chart title(or at the top left hand corner) or else show the filter on the chart (just like 2003)

Select the chart title, and then in the formula bar type a reference to the cell where the pivot filter exists, like:
=SheetName!$B$3

( not tested on PivotChart )

that works!. but is there anyway i can reference the pivot data instead of a cell data? cos if i change the report filter, the name will stay the same

ok, been trying to figure this out for about 15 minutes, looked all over the various ribbons, couldn't find the option, came here, found this solution pretty quick

thank you

I wonder if the people who made excel 2007 ever used it before deciding on all these changes from 2003
