Hi

This may be a silly question.

I need to show a day from a date , I have used the formula =TEXT(B40,"dddd") but I want to show blank if there is no date entered.

I cannot seem make it go blank.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Matthew

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
How about
Excel Formula:
=IF(B40="","",TEXT(B40,"dddd"))
