Hi, I am having trouble with a calculation on a spreadsheet and not having much luck in figuring it out.

Problem
A6 result is $25,000 (total order value)

I need B6 to calculate a charge rate.

The charge rate is -
Orders <$15,000=$25
Orders >$25,000=$35
Orders >$50,000=$50

I would really appreciate assistance with this one.
Thank you
Debbie

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

You have a hole in the function between $15,000 and $25,000.

=IF(A6>50000,50,IF(A6>25000,35,25))

This can also work with ">="

Make sure there are no holes in your function.

This works perfectly, but I did forget one thing... I need to = 0 if there is no orders on the line.
I suppose that might be the hole in my function, otherwise it is good.

Working on the logic of your formula, I have managed to add in the extra missing section.
Many thanks.
cheers.
Debbie :)
