Infrequent user to Excel so please excuse the simplistic question.
I have a list of items in column A and will be adding dates in column B.
When i add a date i want the A cell lettering to change colour. I can set this up on a cell by cell basis (i.e. a seperate rule for each) but i want to set it up for about 100 lines and just cannot see how to do it.

thanks

gary

Hi Gary,

You just highlight the entire column you want to apply the custom format to by clicking the column header... then add your rules.
