I can't get this formula to work, any ideas?

=IF(E1-(A1*-E1)<C1,C1,0)

a1 is a percentage that the user enters
c1=$48.00
e1=$50.00

Excel Facts

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
oops left stuff out

=IF(E1-(A1*-E1)<C1,C1,0)

if e1 times 20% is greater than c1 then c1 otherwise 0

a1 is where user enters a percentage
