Hello everyone,

I have a file that has formulas at the top of the worksheet. Below that is a pivot table. on another sheet is a lot of data connections. My question is when i open the file and it refreshes it makes the column size revert back to another size so all i see is #### is there any way to lock the size of the columns after i adjust them

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
Why not record a macro when you are adjusting the columns and refreshing the data source then you just use the macro each time.

i thought about that but the issue is that there are a lot if people who need to look at this file who dont understand what a pivot table is let alone a macro and unfortunately those people are higher up in the company

Add a button to a sheet and use the caption to explain. Click to update and resize columns, then attach the button to the sheet.
